Now I know that for some investors—particularly those who remember the late 1990s and early 2000s—whenever someone tells you about must-own tech stocks, there’s a little bogeyman whispering in your ear reminding you of what happened nearly a decade ago.
But fortunately, the days of the Internet bubble are long gone, and so for the sake of your portfolio, we should all send that little bogeyman packing. The fact is that tech is most definitely in—and in a very big way!
Of course, you can't just pick any tech stock willy-nilly and expect it to give you the kind of portfolio returns you’re after. To find the best tech stocks burning up the charts right now, you have to be intelligent. You have to be armed with the knowledge of what industries are hot and which companies in those industries are on fire.
But knowing which tech stocks are the best isn’t simply a matter of listening to all of the chatter out there on Wall Street. The fact is that when everyone on CNBC or Fox Business News is talking about a particular tech stock, it’s often too late to really get in on the big moves.
When it comes to finding the best tech stocks to own right now, we prefer to rely on the objective analysis of those who actually work in the technology field. Whenever I say this, people sarcastically ask me if I go around asking people who work in the technology field what they think about it. My reply is a simple, "Yes."
You see, asking those who actually work in the technology field is exactly what we do. How do we do this? It’s called the ChangeWave Alliance.
What’s This ChangeWave Alliance All About?
When it comes to picking the best tech stocks in the fastest-moving sectors of the market, we pride ourselves on staying months ahead of the conventional thinking on Wall Street.
This is possible thanks to the ChangeWave Alliance—our network of more than 15,000 experts that we constantly survey in order to uncover the next big technology trends and new breakout companies. The Alliance is, in essence, a co-op of credentialed, profiled field experts who spend their everyday professional lives working on the front lines of technology and related industries and professions. As in the open-source software world, Alliance members, in return for free access to the final-results research of the community, contribute their eyes, ears and brains to our investment-intelligence-gathering community.
Our goal for the ChangeWave Alliance is to improve the traditional investment research model by removing the conflicts and roadblocks to gathering and distributing unbiased buy/sell/hold investment advice. In short, we have changed the model of investment research into a team sport. To learn more about the ChangeWave Alliance, click here now.
