I've been following the investment landscape in China for years. I started my career as a trader and analyst for a global macro hedge fund, and was then hired by Goldman Sachs where I was heavily involved in international markets. This formal training sparked an interest in me, and I've been investing in and writing about international markets ever since.

Beyond this, my experiences with China run even deeper. I was born in Taiwan and raised in Southern California. And while I am an American citizen, I was born ethnically to Chinese parents. Given this international home life I've spoken English and Mandarin my whole life and have traveled to China and across Asia more times than I can even count.

My travels have been very advantageous to my work, as I have been able to learn about China's investing opportunities through firsthand experiences and research. I visit the country regularly to personally see what investment opportunities are developing, in order to keep myself and my Asia Edge and China Strategy subscribers up-to-date on the economic environment and best places for investment in China.
