Editorial Assistant
InvestorPlace Media (formerly known as Phillips Investment Resources) is a fast-growing, fast-paced financial publishing company looking for an energetic, flexible, hardworking Editorial Assistant in our Newsletter Publishing Group.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years' experience working on deadline with excellent writing and interpersonal skills. Candidate will be responsible for managing the editorial quality of our award-winning investment newsletters and web sites, and will have a great opportunity to contribute to an industry leader in the fast-paced world of investment publishing.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of Quark helpful but not a requirement. Good interpersonal skills; effective and persuasive communicator. Excellent writing and editing skills.

Email Marketing Manager
POSITION INFORMATIONThe Email Marketing Manager in E-Selling will manage all aspects of coordinating, building, deploying and tracking ESelling email campaigns as directed by ESelling marketing management and internal clients. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have solid experience and skills, desire to be in a growth oriented environment. This job revolves around about a fast-pace, deadline driven, sometimes unpredictable environment due to market fluctuations/conditions, so we look for candidates that have some flexibility with their schedule
RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
• Planning, coordinating, and analyzing email marketing programs supporting multiple marketing objectives.
• Effectively manage email marketing production schedules from concept through development and execution.
• Assist Marketing Director in the development of marketing strategies and coordinate execution of marketing plans for each individual program.
• Collaborate with Publisher and EDesign teams in the planning and testing of email elements (including: Creative, Offer, Product pricing, and Segment targets) and report on results.
• Monitor and report on competitive email activity as relevant to manager's brand/product responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong direct marketing skills with at least 3+ years of email marketing and/or online marketing experience
• Strong quantitative and analytic skills; creative thinker
• Extremely well organized (including good project management skills) and high attention to detail.
• Leadership skills – ability to lead teams of people from a variety of functional areas to reach common project goals
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Strong knowledge and proven proficiency in MS Excel, Word as well as working knowledge of key graphics and web production tools & applications (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS).
Managing Editor

Ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years experience working on deadline with excellent writing and interpersonal skills. Candidate will be responsible for managing the editorial quality of our award-winning investment newsletters and websites, and will have a great opportunity to contribute to an industry leader in the fast-paced would of investment publishing. In addition to editing reports and marketing materials, the Managing Editor will perform research, and and must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills. There is ongoing interaction with senior investment advisors, financial, marketing and print production staff as well as freelance writers and outside vendors. The Managing Editor must also respresent the company at occassional investment conferences as well as through subscriber correspondence.
Other Qualifications
Knowledge of Quark helpful but not a requirement. Good interpersonal skills; effective and persuasive communicator. Excellent writing and editing skills. Experience with Dreamweaver and HTML is extremely helpful. The Managing Editor will also oversee a staff of mid and junior-level editors, so managment experience is a plus.

Web Designer
Job RequirementsThe ideal candidate will be a proficient hand coder with clean, organized, and structured HTML and CSS coding skills. Ability to work under tight time constraints with changing requirements a must! Outstanding visual design skills and talent for building usable interfaces needed. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be extremely thorough and detail oriented with a willingness to tackle and troubleshoot any issue big or small. Graphic design and print publishing skills required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Creating and coding outbound HTML emails and e-commerce offer pages
- Design of HTML emails, landing pages, buttons and pops
- Creation of various forms of marketing collateral such as reports, mini-sites, etc.
- Manage new publication launches from the design perspective
- Troubleshoot and investigate technical issues from inception to completion
- Locate and coordinate opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
- Design and update print publications

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Skilled in HTML
- Skilled in use of Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Quark software
- Knowledge of Javascript and Flash preferred

- Two-Three years of experience required
