Microsoft Will Release Full Office Suite for iOS: The very popular Office Suite from Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) will soon appear on Apple‘s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPad, and possibly iPhones, according to BoyGeniusReport. Redmond is contemplating a similar release for devices running Google‘s (NASDAQ:GOOG) Android OS. Microsoft has denied previous rumors of a iOS release for Office. However, sources report having seen MS Office running on an iPad and say the app was designed to run on iOS devices, BoyGeniusReports notes.

Iconic Apple Designer Knighted in Britain: Jonathan Ive, who designed Apple’s iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad, was knighted at Buckingham Palace, Apple Insider reports. Born in Britain, Ive currently lives in San Francisco where he heads Apple’s industrial design team. Ive was made a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire. In an interview after the knighting, he commented that his current products at Apple were “the most important and the best work” his team had yet done, Apple Insider said.

Summit of Apple and Samsung CEOs Fails to Make Progress: Two days of talks between the CEOs of Apple and Samsung did not lead to an agreement over disputed patent litigation, the Korean Times reports. Samsung CEO Choi Gee-sung met with Apple CEO Tim Cook under orders from the U.S. District Court for Northern California in an effort to devise a settlement to a patent lawsuit before the court. Both companies maintained their patent and design infringement claims during the talks, the Korean Times said.
