Harris Interactive recently released the results of its 23rd annual study that may be helpful to soon-to-be travelers. The study ranks the top travel brands and other products, and.

“Consumers are savvy, and before they buy, want to feel ‘linked and connected’ to the brands they’re purchasing,” said Joan Sinopoli, Senior Vice President of the Brand and Communications Consulting group at Harris interactive. “And, although services may be similar, preferred brands more than often exceed a customer’s expectations, making them more than likely to recommend to others,” Sinopoli.

Here’s the list of the travel brands that scored high on the poll:

Full Service Airlines

  1. Alaska Airlines/Horizon Air (NYSE:ALK)
  2. Hawaiian Airlines (NASDAQ:HA)

Value Airlines

  1. Southwest Airlines (NYSE:LUV)
  2. JetBlue Airways (NASDAQ:JBLU)

Car Rentals

  1. Enterprise Rent-A-Car
  2. Hertz Car Rental (NYSE:HTZ)

Cruise Lines

  1. Royal Caribbean International (NYSE:RCL)
  2. Celebrity Cruises (NYSE:RCL)

Online Travel Services

  1. Kayak.com (no other brands were listed among the results)
