Christmas salesChristmas is upon us, and its fury cannot be contained. The tree might be up, but if you’re like many Americans, your shopping isn’t done! You forgot to get presents for your wife, your uncle, your boyfriend, your parents or your dog! It’s all over for you, and Christmas is ruined, right?

Wrong! Don’t hang your head in shame and wallow in an eggnog fugue for the rest for your days. Sales are everywhere, all of them prearranged to account for your holiday giving oversights. The last-minute Christmas deals are inescapable. You probably could get 50% off on a new pair of loafers by going outside and talking to the neighbor’s cat. (It has a buddy who works at Zappos.)

InvestorPlace.com has your back. Here are 10 last-minute deals to get you through these remaining Christmas trials and tribulations.

J.C. Penney Xersion Women’s Coat

If you happen to be spending Christmas in the Midwest, getting pummeled by winter storms, J.C. Penney (NYSE:JCP) has the perfect thing. Xersion brand women’s coats, typically $150, are just $60 through Christmas. Warm and toasty are two of the premier states of being on Christmas Day.

7-Eleven T-Mobile Nokia X2

Odds are good you’re going to be sent out for more Snapple on Christmas Eve. Your visiting nephews won’t drink anything else, so it’s up to you. But if you also forgot to get a cheap mobile phone for your daughter, 7-Eleven can cover both errands! The convenience store chain is selling Nokia (NYSE:NOK) X2 feature phones on T-Mobile’s network for just $59.99 — $20 off its regular price.

Target Samsung 32-inch 720p LCD HDTV

Target‘s (NYSE:TGT) deals on HDTVs are good enough that you probably could get a television for every room in your house by Christmas Day. A 32-inch, 720p LCD television from Samsung (PINK:SSNLF) — which retailed for around $1,200 just a few years back — can be had for just $300 this week. It’s only a $50 markdown from its current retail price, but it’s still a sweet last-minute Christmas deal.

Old Navy Women’s Sweaters

The Gap Inc‘s (NYSE:GPS) Old Navy is known for practically giving away its wares all year round, but it’s still rising to the occasion this Christmas. Its full line of women’s sweaters is marked down for the last few days of the season. Most are selling for just $15, down from $35. Cheap and stylish enough to be paired with that J.C. Penney coat from before — this last-minute Christmas deal is perfect for the extra-cold lady in your life.

Best Buy Boost Mobile Samsung Galaxy Prevail Phone

Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) has had it rough this holiday season, with deals cutting heavily into profits. That isn’t stopping the company from offering up the goods for super cheap all the way through Christmas. Samsung Galaxy Prevail smartphones, usually $150 on carrier Boost Mobile, are just $75.

Wal-Mart Nikon Coolpix Digital Camera Bundle

Strange that the age of the digital camera is already almost over. Replaced by HD camera-equipped smartphones, the workhorse, sub-professional-grade camera is a dying commodity. This means you can get a really nice camera for very little money. Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT) is practically giving away Nikon Coolpix digital cameras. The device is running just $89 this week, marked down from $172 — and it includes a case, memory card and 50 bonus prints from Wal-Mart Photo. This is no deal — it’s a last-minute Christmas steal!

Overstock.com Memory Foam Lounge Chair

The sole online-only retailer on our list, Overstock.com (NASDAQ:OSTK) is worth mentioning because while most online juggernauts like Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) are only guaranteeing Christmas shipments through Wednesday, Overstock is taking some Christmas orders through Friday. A plumb last-minute Christmas deal offered through Friday: Comfy memory foam lounge chairs, usually $234, are just $165. A pretty sweet dorm accessory for the college-age kid in your life.

Victoria’s Secret Sweaterdresses

Limited Brands‘ (NYSE:LTD) Victoria’s Secret chain has what could be the pièce de résistance in this list’s trifecta of clothing deals. The lingerie store’s sweaterdresses — simultaneously good for sitting around watching old movies or going out to a fine Christmas dinner — are all marked down. Where the sweaterdresses typically retail for as much as $100, they’re available this week for as little as $50.

This deal does end Thursday, however. If you won’t be able to get out until Friday or Saturday, might we suggest …

Gift Cards

This old standby never fails. When in doubt, ask your loved ones about their favorite stores, grab a gift card or gift certificate and call it a day. Gift cards are easy to use, almost every large retailer offers them, and some even sell at a smooth discount. Wal-Mart is hocking $50 Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) iTunes gift cards for just $40. Make it happen.

Cold, Hard Cash

OK, cash is hardly a personal gift, but you’ll notice that no one returns it. This present is a great standby if you completely forgot someone until the last minute, and it’s a safe bet for the most persnickety of gift recipients — you know, the dad that refuses to tell you what he wants and won’t even divulge a favorite store. Cash allows anyone to spend to their picky heart’s desire. And best of all, there’s no activation charge.
