- Shares of Nokia (NYSE:NOK) rose 3.7% in early Tuesday trading after news that the company reached a patent licensing deal with Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), settling competing lawsuits and ending all litigation between the two companies.
- Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) gained nearly 7% after the company beat Wall Street’s first-quarter profit and revenue estimates. Comparable-store sales fell 1.7%.
- GT Solar (NASDAQ:SOLR) rose 5.9% after the company boosted its first-quarter revenue and profit expectations above analyst’s current estimates.
- Cracker Barrel (NASDAQ:CBRL) jumped 7.4% after a disclosure that Biglari Holdings (NYSE:BH) now owned a 9.7% stake in the company.
- AngioDynamics (NASDAQ:ANGO) tumbled more than 10% after the company said its fourth-quarter results would miss current Wall Street forecasts. In addition, CEO Jan Keltjens resigned, effective immediately.
