Verizon Pounces on iPad: In an interesting strategy, Verizon (VZ[2]) is actually using the iPad launch as an opportunity. Since only WiFi iPads will be immediately available, VZ is using the chance to push its superior 3G network. Read more on Apple Insider[3].
More Apple Lawsuits?: Fortune reports[4] in its Brainstorm Tech blog that an Oppenhiemer research note indicates Apple began taking major phone manufacturers to the woodshed this January over supposed infringement of its iPhone-related intellectual property. (Read last week’s article the Apple/HTC battle[5])
Ap Developers, Get Cracking!: Apple today released iPhone SDK 3.2 Beta 4 via the iPhone Dev Center[6], offering program developers new tools for building applications for the iPad. Let’s hope the Apple army comes up with some good stuff!
