Apple Apps on the Cheap: A few times a year, MacRumors partners with MacHeist to promote a bundled Mac application bargain. Yesterday kicked off one of those times. The latest bundle delivers at least eight Mac applications for $19.95 (over $280 value if all purchased separately). 

Steve Jobs Threatens Sun?: That’s the claim made by a former Sun Microsystems (JAVA) CEO. Apparently Apple execs thought Sun was horning in on AAPL patents. Get the sordid details on Apple Insider.

First Wave of iPads to Top 5 Million: Citing anonymous Apple insiders, FBR Capital Markets analyst Craig Berger said in a report Tuesday that initial iPad plans call for 5 million units in the first half of 2010 alone, up slightly from earlier projections.
