AU Optronics Corp. (AUO[1]) – This Taiwan-based company is a global supplier of thin-film transistor (TFT) LCD panels.

The stock broke out from a spread triple-top on Dec. 31 at $12, and ran to $13.30. But the recent market correction and profit-taking have resulted in a pullback to under $12.
The December breakout gave a trading target of $16.25.
S&P rates AU Optronics a “four-star buy” with a 12-month target of $16.
The company reports earnings on Thursday, Jan. 28.
